Basic specifications for the photo exhibit:
The show requires approximately 150 linear feet and is made
up of 30 framed images:
18 photos @ 30 x 40 inches
10 photos @ 20 x 30 inches
3 photos in one 30 (w) x 15 (h) inch frame
2 photos in one 30 (w) x 10 (h) inch frame
In addition, previous exhibits have created at least
two large information panels, with help from NRDC and Gary Braasch, introducing
climate change and the arctic. The show at the Science Museum of Minnesota
was particularly useful to museum and community groups for focusing special
events, slide shows, and media interviews. Details are available on request.
Freight and installation costs: Photos are framed and
crated for travel, from Washington DC and return. Costs to install and
take down the exhibit depend on local staff and costs of art technicians,
but it can be done easily in less than one day (not counting repainting
or other locally required action). The prints have an anti-fingerprint
coating, but are not glazed or Plexiglas covered. This may require a physical
barrier between viewers and prints, if your insurance or security needs
so dictate.
